"Follow your heart, for it will lead you to great distances." Everyone has heard this quote in their lives, just maybe worded differently. They say that the heart knows best and you shouldn't let your mind or others take over. Following your heart means doing what you feel is right, and that sometimes could mean doing the wrong thing. Ellie lives in a world where vampires have two kingdoms and are pushing the humans out. Luckily for Nikita and her pack, they help keep the vampires back. Lets be honest, nobody likes the vampires. They are cruel and want to overrun everyone including the witches. Zayn is the prince of vampires and his head is filled with evil thoughts and those thoughts have trapped his heart in a cage. When Ellie and Nikita are taken under his control, Nikita doesn't want anything to do with him. But, Nikita knows that she must get the human, Ellie, out of there so she thinks up a devious plan to get out that involves a certain vampire, Ashton Belikov. Things sturr and Zayn gets a visit from a special ancestor that tells him to use his caged heart. Of course Zayn disagrees, but lets hope that he listens to his heart before it's too late, before evil fully pulls him under. On the other hand, Nikita is forced to use her heart when she finds love in the most unsuspected place. All is well in love and war, just make sure to keep the evil down to a level.
